Terms of Service

You must be able to form a binding agreement to create an account. If you're under 18, a parent or guardian must be involved in your account in one of two ways the Service supports:

• Your own player account, with a parent or guardian's email on file — any coach who wants to add you to their squad needs that parent or guardian's explicit approval first.
• A managed child profile created and controlled entirely through your parent or guardian's own account (our "My players" feature).

We do not knowingly allow a child below {{minimum age — confirm with counsel; commonly 13, see Privacy Policy §5}} to hold an account independent of a parent or guardian. See our Privacy Policy for the full children's-privacy section.

You're responsible for keeping your login credentials secure and for activity that happens under your account. Tell us right away if you think someone else has access to it. Coaches, club admins and scouts are responsible for the accuracy of information they enter about the players, teams and academies they manage.

You keep ownership of the videos, bio markers and other content you upload. By uploading, you give us a limited license to store, process and display that content back to you and to whichever coaches/academies/teams you're connected to within the Service, solely to provide the Service to you.

Don't upload video of anyone who hasn't agreed to it, and don't upload anything you don't have the right to share — this matters especially for footage that includes other people's children. You're responsible for having the right permissions for anyone visible in a clip you upload.

Skill ratings, written feedback, drill recommendations and movement analysis on CoachLens are generated by third-party AI models (currently Google's Gemini model via Replicate, and optionally a pose-estimation model via Roboflow for movement tracking). This feedback is provided for informational and training purposes only. It is not professional coaching, medical, or injury-prevention advice, and it can be wrong or incomplete. Use your own judgment, and consult a qualified coach or medical professional for anything related to injury, safety, or serious performance decisions.

Some features require a paid plan (see Pricing). Paid plans renew automatically for the same period until cancelled. You can cancel any time from your account settings; cancelling stops future renewals but doesn't refund the current period unless we say otherwise or the law requires it. We may change our prices with reasonable notice before your next renewal.

You agree not to:

• Impersonate someone else or misrepresent your affiliation with a team, club or academy.
• Upload content that's unlawful, abusive, or that harasses or endangers anyone — especially a minor.
• Try to access another person's account, or another minor's data, without authorization.
• Scrape, reverse-engineer, or attempt to bypass rate limits, access controls, or other technical protections on the Service.
• Use the Service to build a competing product using our data or AI outputs.

We can suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms, especially anything touching the safety of a minor on the platform.

CoachLens relies on third-party services to operate: Replicate/Google (AI video analysis), Roboflow (optional pose/movement analysis), Resend (transactional email), Railway (hosting and data storage), and Google (optional sign-in). Your use of the Service means your data may be processed by these providers as described in our Privacy Policy.

The Service is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind, to the extent permitted by law. We don't guarantee the Service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or that AI-generated feedback will be accurate. To the extent permitted by law, our total liability to you for any claim arising from your use of the Service is limited to the amount you paid us in the 12 months before the claim arose (or {{a stated minimum, e.g. €100}} if you're on a free plan).

You can delete your account at any time by contacting us or, where available, from your account settings. We may suspend or terminate your account for violating these Terms. On deletion, we handle your data as described in our Privacy Policy.

We may update these Terms from time to time. If we make a material change, we'll let you know (e.g. by email or an in-app notice) before it takes effect. Continuing to use the Service after a change takes effect means you accept the updated Terms.
